Diane Keaton Fansite

Veteran actress Diane Keaton joined newcomer Mandy Moore in the 2007 romantic comedy Because I Said So. The result was a film that did well in the box office yet was overwhelmingly bombed by critics worldwide.

The film opens with mother Daphne (Keaton) and her daughters trying to set the youngest daughter, Milly (Moore) up with a man at an older sister’s wedding reception. The pairing goes well until they all realize he’s actually married.

What follows is a string of unsuccessful set-ups for Milly who has constant trouble trying to find the right man for her, not to mention one particularly disastrous scenario where she meets a man (Joe, played by Stephen Collins) she feels incredible chemstry towards, yet whom ends up with her mother.

Happily the movie ends well for Milly when she ends up with a guitarist, Johnny, who expresses his desire for her in a tender moment.

Unfortunately Because I Said So rated very poorly and was considered the worst movie of the year by many.
